It’s that time of year. I feel like I was just hiking through the forests in the summer sun, and now we are bundled up and waiting for the anticipation of Christmas.
Last Christmas I made chocolate bark using this recipe by CocoCakeLand. It was so easy, and my kids loved being involved. Recently I came across some candy eyeballs, and right away knew my kiddos would have fun making some creepy chocolate bark.

I love making art with my kids and the process is very important but as an aspiring minimalist, I also think of the impact of the project. Do you have to have lots of expensive, bulky, one use supplies for it? Will I buy these supplies that will sit around my house and rarely or to never be used again?
For those reasons, I love this project, it’s not expensive, it has a small supply list, it’s useful and lots of fun.
